Tucker - 1 1/2 year old male bernedoodle
Tucker is a 44 pound castrated male bernedoodle. He is unfurnished, so grooming requirements are minimal. He is low to minimal shedding. He is microchipped, current on vaccines, and even went to puppy training. He is crate trained, but in a previous home he spent way too much time in a crate so we are looking for a home that will use a crate only for short periods of time, if any. He is loving and affectionate, and all around a good boy who has been returned to us 4 times. Yep, thats right, 4 times.
So this time around, we are looking for a family who will be dedicated to him, and not treat him like a throw away rug that can be returned to the nearest Walmart a the drop of a hat. He needs a yard, and a family with no small children, and no mean dogs. Apartment life did not work for him in the past, and he is very exuberant and bouncy so little kids might get in his way of enthusiastic play. He doesn't mean to hurt anyone, he's just exuberant. He has energy, so a younger, active family would be best. He knows how to use doggy door, but this is not essential. He gets along with all other dogs, though was bullied in his last home by another dog so now is nervous around other dogs that show aggression towards him. He needs work with walking on the leash like a gentleman and not tugging when he sees something that is exiting.....and he thinks everything is exiting. People, dogs, anything. He is a lover and a friend to all. He means well, he's just really been misunderstood, or perhaps I am just really bad at reading people. I don't want to make a mistake again, so if you're interested in taking home this bundle of joy, please fill out the application and set up a time to meet him. We want to him to have the most excellent, dedicated home. He has so much to offer. He is very trainable and would excel at Service Work.
